Updating Drupal is far out of my comfort zone. Still, it's necessary to do it and a rainy sunday afternoon is the perfect time for this. Also, I'm wondering if there's a connection between the fact that there was a security update for the old version of Drupal and the high access count for the Contact page.
Anyway, I'm now running the latest version now and I've added a Google +1 button, since I'm one of the lucky owners of a Google+ profile :)
On that note: I'm really not happy about the arrangement of the various social buttons right now. I think the current layout is the one that doesn't suck as much as every other possible layout with the plugins I'm using now, but that doesn't make it good. Maybe I find a better plugin, but so far I haven't found anything that integrates the options I care about (Flattr, +1, Reddit, Twitter and Facebook). But I'll keep looking.
The next beta for boxen is also coming soon. It contains among other things video resizing and support for special characters (like umlauts) in metadata tags. I hope I can manage to get gapless playback for mp3s to work, theoretically it should be possible, but we'll see.
